Terms and conditions for using Movis Studio services
2026/05/23
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a binding agreement between you or the entity you represent ("you" and "your") and Movis Studio ("Movis Studio," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms govern your access to and use of Movis Studio, including our website, AI video generation, AI image generation, AI music generation, AI speech generation, AI apps, AI effects, Explore, Assets, credit-based features, billing, and related services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using the Services, creating an account, purchasing credits, clicking a button to continue, or otherwise indicating acceptance, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Services on behalf of a company, organization, or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
The Services are not intended for, directed to, or offered to children or minors. Movis Studio does not knowingly provide the Services to anyone under 18 years old or under the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to access or use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that your use of the Services is permitted by the laws applicable to you.
If we learn or reasonably believe that a child or minor has created an account, submitted content, purchased Credits, or otherwise used the Services, we may suspend or terminate the account, restrict access, cancel pending requests, remove related content, and take reasonable steps to delete personal information as required by applicable law.
You may not use the Services if you are barred from doing so under applicable law, sanctions rules, export control rules, or any other legal restriction.
"User Input" means any information, data, prompts, scripts, text, images, audio, video, files, references, settings, instructions, or other content that you submit, upload, provide, or transmit to the Services.
"Generated Output" means any content generated, processed, transformed, or otherwise output by the Services based on User Input, including videos, images, music, speech, voiceovers, previews, thumbnails, files, and related metadata.
"AI Technology" means machine learning, deep learning, generative AI, text-to-image, image-to-video, text-to-video, text-to-speech, speech, music generation, moderation, and other artificial intelligence technologies used in or made available through the Services.
"Credits" means virtual usage units that may be used to access certain paid or metered features of the Services. Credits are not cash, stored value, currency, or a financial instrument.
"User Content" means User Input, Generated Output, and any other content you upload, generate, store, publish, share, or otherwise make available through the Services.
"Provider IP" means the Services, website, software, interfaces, workflows, templates, designs, documentation, systems, models, prompts, presets, moderation systems, and all related intellectual property owned by us or licensed to us, excluding your User Content.
"Third-Party Services" means services, technologies, models, payment processors, hosting providers, analytics tools, advertising tools, authentication providers, and other products or services provided by third parties and used in connection with the Services.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Services for lawful creative, business, marketing, design, social media, educational, and other permitted purposes.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
You may not sell, transfer, sublicense, share, or otherwise make your account available to another person or entity except as permitted by us in writing or through an authorized team or organization feature.
Movis Studio provides an all-in-one AI creative platform for generating and managing creative assets, including AI videos, images, music, speech, focused AI apps, AI effects, asset history, downloads, and related workflows. The Services may allow you to generate content from prompts, scripts, uploaded references, first frames, last frames, images, audio, model selections, style settings, and other creative inputs.
The Services may change over time. We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features, models, templates, credit costs, usage limits, storage limits, availability, or technical requirements at any time. Some features may be experimental, in beta, subject to capacity limits, or dependent on Third-Party Services.
We use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the availability, security, and reliability of the Services. However, we do not guarantee that the Services, AI models, generation queues, storage, downloads, account features, or Generated Output will be uninterrupted, error-free, delay-free, or available at all times.
We may refuse, cancel, throttle, or delay a generation request when required for safety, legal compliance, abuse prevention, infrastructure stability, model availability, payment status, or other operational reasons.
You retain any rights you have in your User Input. Subject to these Terms, we do not claim ownership of your User Input.
As between you and Movis Studio, and to the extent permitted by applicable law, you may use Generated Output for lawful purposes, subject to these Terms, third-party rights, applicable laws, Third-Party Service terms, and any additional terms presented with a specific feature, model, plan, or output.
Any "commercial use" or similar license language shown in the Services, pricing page, checkout page, or marketing materials means that Movis Studio does not separately restrict commercial use of eligible Generated Output under these Terms. It does not guarantee that Generated Output is free of third-party rights, model restrictions, platform restrictions, regulatory requirements, or other legal limitations. You remain responsible for confirming that your commercial use is lawful and properly authorized.
You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, reproduce, modify, transmit, display, and use User Content as needed to provide, maintain, secure, moderate, improve, and support the Services; comply with law; enforce these Terms; prevent abuse; and operate related features such as Assets, Explore, downloads, generation history, and customer support.
We may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information to analyze, maintain, and improve the Services. Whether User Input or Generated Output may be used to train or improve AI models is governed by our Privacy Policy, product settings, feature-specific terms, and applicable Third-Party Service terms. Third-Party Services may process User Content according to their own terms and policies.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, consents, licenses, and notices necessary to submit User Input and to use Generated Output. This includes rights related to images, videos, audio, music, scripts, brands, products, trademarks, copyrighted works, likenesses, voices, names, personas, and personal information.
Generated Output may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, similar to content generated for other users, or similar to third-party content. You are solely responsible for reviewing Generated Output before using, publishing, distributing, relying on, or commercializing it. We do not guarantee that Generated Output is unique, non-infringing, suitable for commercial use, compliant with platform rules, or lawful in your jurisdiction.
You are responsible for downloading, exporting, and backing up any User Content or Generated Output that you want to keep. The Services are not intended to be a permanent storage or archival service.
We may retain generated assets, uploads, generation history, prompts, previews, thumbnails, downloads, and related records according to your account type, plan, purchase status, product settings, storage limits, and the retention periods shown in the product, pricing page, checkout page, or account settings.
Unless a different retention period is shown in the product or required by applicable law, free users' generated assets and history are generally retained for up to 15 days, and eligible paid users, such as users with an active paid plan or qualifying purchased credit package, generally receive generated asset and history retention for up to 365 days.
After the applicable retention period ends, we may delete, archive, disable access to, or otherwise remove related files, records, URLs, previews, downloads, and metadata. We may also remove User Content or Generated Output before the retention period ends if you delete it, your account is suspended or terminated, the content violates these Terms, storage limits are exceeded, security or technical issues occur, a Third-Party Service requires it, the Services change, or removal is required or permitted by law.
Content that you choose to publish, share, or make public, including through Explore or public pages, may remain available until you remove it, unpublish it, or we remove it. We will use reasonable efforts to remove deleted or unpublished content from active Services, but cached copies, backups, logs, third-party copies, shared links, downloaded files, or content indexed by third parties may not be immediately or fully removed.
Some features may make User Content or Generated Output public by default, or may require a paid plan to disable public visibility, as shown in the product interface. You are responsible for reviewing visibility settings before submitting, generating, publishing, or sharing content.
You may not use the Services to upload, prompt, generate, edit, transform, publish, share, download, distribute, or otherwise use any content that violates these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights, or our safety standards. This Acceptable Use Policy applies to User Input, Generated Output, uploaded references, generated assets, public sharing, private storage, and any other use of the Services.
The prohibited uses listed in this section are examples and are not exhaustive. We may treat any content or activity as prohibited if we reasonably determine that it is unlawful, harmful, unsafe, abusive, infringing, misleading, exploitative, violates platform rules, or creates legal, safety, operational, or reputational risk for Movis Studio, our users, third parties, or the public.
You may not use the Services to create, request, upload, transform, or distribute sexual, pornographic, erotic, or NSFW content. Prohibited content includes, without limitation:
Content involving minors is subject to a strict zero-tolerance rule. You may not generate, upload, request, publish, or distribute any sexual, romantic, intimate, nude, suggestive, exploitative, or otherwise inappropriate content involving a person who is or appears to be under 18. This prohibition applies even if the content is fictional, stylized, animated, implied, or described as consensual.
You may not use vague wording, coded language, roleplay, artistic framing, cropping, blurring, partial concealment, uncertain age descriptions, or other techniques to evade these restrictions. Features involving intimacy, affection, hugging, kissing, likeness, or body interaction may not be used to create sexualized content, content involving minors, non-consensual depictions of real people, harassment, humiliation, exploitation, or other unsafe content.
You may not use the Services to infringe, misappropriate, or violate intellectual property, publicity, privacy, or other rights. Prohibited uses include, without limitation:
You should use generic creative traits instead of naming, copying, or imitating a specific living person, artist, song, voice, likeness, brand, protected work, or copyrighted character unless you have the necessary rights and permissions.
If you are not sure whether you have the right to use a character, brand, song, voice, likeness, image, video, file, reference, or other material, you should not upload it, request it, generate it, publish it, or use it commercially through the Services. We do not verify that you have obtained all necessary permissions, and you remain responsible for obtaining any rights, licenses, consents, clearances, or approvals required for your use.
You may not use the Services for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or unsafe purposes. Prohibited uses include, without limitation:
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services, User Input, Generated Output, advertising materials, social media posts, commercial campaigns, and downloadable assets comply with the laws, regulations, industry rules, advertising standards, platform policies, and contractual obligations that apply to you.
If content is illegal or restricted in your location, the location of your audience, or any location where you publish or distribute it, you may not use the Services to create or use that content. We may treat any content that violates local law, third-party rights, or applicable platform rules as prohibited, even if it is not specifically listed in these Terms.
You may not rely on the absence of a specific example in these Terms to argue that a harmful, unlawful, unsafe, infringing, or abusive use is allowed. We may update, interpret, and enforce this Acceptable Use Policy as new risks, laws, model capabilities, platform requirements, or abuse patterns emerge.
We may use automated systems, third-party tools, human review, metadata analysis, logs, user reports, and other methods to moderate User Input, Generated Output, uploaded files, generated assets, public content, private content, and account activity.
We may refuse to process a request, block an upload, reject or stop a generation, withhold or remove an output, limit downloads, remove content from Explore or Assets, restrict features, reduce visibility, suspend or terminate an account, preserve records, or take other action if we believe content or activity violates these Terms, applicable law, third-party rights, or our safety standards.
If a generation request, upload, or account activity violates these Terms, we do not guarantee that related consumed Credits, fees, or service costs will be refunded, except where required by law or expressly approved by us.
Moderation systems are imperfect and may not identify every violation. Passing a moderation check does not mean that content is lawful, permitted, commercially usable, or approved by us. You remain responsible for your User Input, Generated Output, and use of the Services.
If we reasonably believe content involves child sexual abuse material, exploitation, credible threats, serious harm, fraud, or other unlawful conduct, we may report it to appropriate authorities, preserve relevant information, and cooperate with lawful requests as required or permitted by law.
Some Services require payment or Credits. Prices, credit packages, model costs, usage estimates, included credits, and feature availability may be displayed on the website or during checkout and may change from time to time.
Payments are processed by Stripe or other payment providers. By purchasing a credit package or other paid Service, you authorize us and our payment providers to charge your selected payment method for the applicable fees, taxes, and charges. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide and that your billing information is accurate.
Prices may not include taxes, duties, levies, or similar government charges unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes may be calculated and collected during checkout or shown on invoices, receipts, or payment provider records. You are responsible for any taxes, payment charges, or other amounts required by applicable law or by the payment method you use.
Credits are used to access AI generation and other metered features. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable except as expressly permitted by us, and may not be exchanged for cash. We may modify credit costs, estimates, limits, packages, or feature requirements to reflect model costs, capacity, abuse prevention, product changes, or operational needs.
Purchased credit packages are valid for the period shown at the time of purchase, in the product, pricing page, checkout page, receipt, invoice, or account settings. Unless a different period is shown or required by applicable law, purchased Credits are generally valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. Free, promotional, registration, subscription, daily, or trial Credits may expire according to the rules shown in the product, plan, promotion, or account. For example, registration gift Credits and subscription Credits may expire after the stated period, and daily free Credits may expire after one day without accumulating.
AI generation consumes computational resources. Credits may be deducted when a request is submitted, processed, completed, or otherwise reaches the applicable billing event shown in the product. Failed, blocked, cancelled, or partially completed tasks may be handled according to the rules shown in the product or determined by us in good faith.
Fees for consumed Credits and completed AI generation are generally non-refundable because AI generation consumes computing resources. Unused purchased Credits may be eligible for refund if the refund request is submitted within 10 DAYS of purchase. If you have unused purchased Credits and want to request a refund, you must contact us by email at [email protected] and provide the email address associated with your account, the purchase date or order information, the reason for the refund request, and the unused Credits or purchase item you want refunded. Approved refunds may be limited to the unused purchased Credit balance and may be reduced by payment processing fees, taxes, currency conversion costs, chargeback fees, promotional discounts, third-party costs, already incurred service costs, or other non-refundable costs permitted by law.
After receiving your refund request, we will review and process it within 7 BUSINESS DAYS. Approved refunds are generally issued back to the original payment method, where supported by the payment provider and applicable law. Refund timing depends on the payment provider, payment method, card network, bank, and region. If the original payment method is unavailable or a refund fails, we may require additional information or determine that a refund cannot be completed through the original method.
Free, promotional, trial, registration, subscription, daily, or bonus Credits are not refundable, have no cash value, and may not be exchanged for money or transferred unless expressly permitted by us. We may refuse, cancel, or refund an order if we suspect fraud, unauthorized use, pricing errors, payment errors, prohibited activity, abuse of promotions, chargeback abuse, or violation of these Terms.
If you have a billing issue, refund request, or payment dispute, you should contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. If a chargeback, dispute, reversal, or payment failure occurs, we may suspend or restrict your account, freeze Credits, pause generation access, remove unpaid access, or request additional information until the issue is resolved. Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in account termination.
We may offer promotions, discounts, trials, or free credits. Promotions may have separate terms, eligibility rules, expiration dates, usage limits, or restrictions. If promotion terms conflict with these Terms, the promotion terms apply only to that promotion.
The Services may include, depend on, or link to Third-Party Services, including AI model providers, hosting providers, storage providers, payment processors, authentication providers, analytics tools, advertising tools, affiliate or referral tools, security tools, and customer support tools.
Third-Party Services may be subject to their own terms, policies, fees, limits, and availability. We are not responsible for Third-Party Services, and we do not guarantee their performance, security, accuracy, availability, or continued operation.
We and our licensors retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Provider IP. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.
You may not, directly or indirectly:
If you provide feedback, ideas, suggestions, requests, comments, or recommendations about the Services ("Feedback"), you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exploit the Feedback for any purpose without restriction, attribution, or compensation to you.
Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, store, and protect personal information in connection with the Services. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed our Privacy Policy, available at https://movis.studio/privacy-policy.
If either party receives non-public information from the other party that is marked confidential or should reasonably be understood to be confidential, the receiving party will use reasonable care to protect that information and will use it only as needed to perform under these Terms, exercise rights under these Terms, comply with law, or enforce legal rights.
This section does not apply to information that is publicly available, independently developed, rightfully received from a third party without a duty of confidentiality, or already known without restriction.

We do not guarantee that the Services will be error-free, secure, available at all times, compatible with your needs, or that Generated Output will be accurate, unique, lawful, non-infringing, safe, commercially usable, or accepted by any third-party platform, advertiser, marketplace, or authority.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Movis Studio and its affiliates, service providers, licensors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or lost profit damages, or for loss of data, goodwill, revenue, business, or opportunities, arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Services or these Terms will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the Services giving rise to the claim during the three months before the event giving rise to liability, or USD $100, whichever is greater.
You will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Movis Studio and its affiliates, service providers, licensors, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to:
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we reasonably believe that:
You may stop using the Services at any time. Termination or suspension does not affect provisions that by their nature should survive, including payment obligations, ownership, confidentiality, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, enforcement rights, and dispute-related provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above and may provide additional notice where required by law or where changes are material. Your continued use of the Services after the updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.
